This Privacy Policy applies to the Chart Sniper AI platform, which includes our main application (https://aichartsniper.com) and our informational blog (https://blog.aichartsniper.com).

We provide AI-powered technical analysis tools for cryptocurrency traders. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the data you share with us.

2. Information We Collect

a. Comments (Blog)

When visitors leave comments on the blog, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

b. Media & Chart Analysis

• Chart Sniper App Uploads: When you use the core analysis tool, chart screenshots are transmitted securely to our AI provider (Google Gemini) solely for real-time analysis. We do not permanently store these chart images on our servers.
• Contact Form Attachments: Files attached to support inquiries are transmitted securely via our email service provider to our support inbox. They are used solely for resolving your inquiry.

3. API Key Handling (BYOK)

To offer unlimited access during high-traffic periods, we provide an optional “Bring Your Own Key” feature.

• Local Storage: Your API Key is stored locally on your device (in your browser’s Local Storage). It is NEVER saved to our central databases.
• Secure Transmission: During analysis, your key is sent via HTTPS encryption solely to authorize the session with Google’s API. Our server discards the key immediately after the transaction.
• User Control: You retain full control. You can remove your key instantly by clicking “Remove Saved Key” or clearing your browser cache.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Web App (Local Storage): Our trading application operates without persistent tracking cookies. We utilize Local Storage technology to save data directly on your device for speed and privacy. This includes:

• Your saved API Key (if provided).
• Your local Analysis History (last 20 scans).
• Interface preferences (e.g., target settings).

Note: This data is not automatically sent to our servers with every request.

Blog (Cookies): Commenting on the blog offers an opt-in cookie to retain name and email details for future convenience, set to expire after one year.

5. Third-Party Embedded Content

Articles may include embedded content (e.g., videos, trading widgets). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website directly.

6. Data Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only under necessary technical circumstances:

• AI Service Providers: Image data is processed by the Gemini AI API (Google).
• Infrastructure Partners: Contact form submissions and website hosting utilize third-party infrastructure and email service providers to ensure secure delivery and performance.
• Spam Detection: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

7. Data Retention

• Chart Data: Processed instantly and not retained on servers.
• API Keys & History: Retained only on your local device until you manually remove them.
• Contact Messages: Retained in our secure support inbox for customer service history.
• Comments: Retained indefinitely with metadata for community management.

8. Your Rights

If you have left comments on the blog, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or request that we erase any personal data we hold.
