This Privacy Policy applies to the Chart Sniper AI platform, which includes our main application (https://aichartsniper.com) and our informational blog (https://blog.aichartsniper.com).

We provide AI-powered technical analysis tools for cryptocurrency traders. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us.

2. Information We Collect

a. Comments (Blog)

When visitors leave comments on the blog, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

b. Media & Chart Analysis (Web App)

There are two ways media is handled on our platform:

  1. Public Blog Uploads: If you upload images to the public blog (e.g., in the comment section), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from these images.
  2. Chart Sniper App Uploads: When you use the core tool on aichartsniper.com to analyze a chart, you upload a screenshot of your trading view. We process these images securely. The image data is transmitted to our AI provider (Google Gemini) solely for the purpose of generating the technical analysis and trade signal. We do not use these images to access your private accounts, nor do we permanently store them after the analysis is complete.

3. Cookies

On the Blog: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

On the Web App: We may use temporary session cookies or local storage to ensure the application runs smoothly (e.g., remembering your dark mode preference or keeping you logged in).

General: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

4. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, trading widgets). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following necessary technical circumstances:

  1. AI Service Providers: To provide the chart analysis service, the image data you upload is processed by the Gemini AI API (Google).
  2. Spam Detection: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
  3. Password Resets: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

6. How long we retain your data

  • Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically.
  • Registered Accounts: For users that register on our website, we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
  • Chart Data: Images uploaded for analysis are processed transiently and are not retained in a permanent public archive.

7. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

8. Financial & Security Disclaimer

While Chart Sniper AI provides technical analysis based on the screenshots you provide, we do not have access to your crypto wallets, private keys, or exchange accounts. We will never ask for your private keys.
